How To Create and Manage FTP Accounts in Helm 4 Control Panel?

How can I create and mange my FTP accounts by my self?

Solution:

You can manipulate your FTP accounts via our control panel, Helm4, by following:

Step 1) Log into our control panel, at http://204.61.220.71

Step 2) Go to the targe domain.

In Helm4, go to 'Domains > MyDomain.com'. And click 'FTP Accounts'.

Step 3) Add new account

For each domain, there's a default FTP account, which is named after your domain name. Its password is the same as your control panel accout's. You can edit existing accounts by clicking it. Or create new one by clicking 'Add'.

Step 4) Configure new account

You can congirue the new FTP account's attrubuts. You can enable or disable its read permssion by checking on or not 'Can Read From Folder '
You can enable or disable its write permission by checking on or not 'Can Write To Folder'. You can set the FTP account's root folder visually by clicking the folder icon. It cannot access out of it. It's very useful if you want assign different parts of your web site to each developer.
Then click 'Save'

Step 5) Modify existing account

You can also edit eixsting account by click it. The next process is much same as creating new ones

Step 6) Delete FTP accounts

You can delete existing account, by checking on it and clicking 'Delete selected'
