What's the difference between GPU VPS and GPU Dedicated Server?

Both provide dedicated GPU resources. GPU VPS shares CPU and disk among users through virtualization, offering flexibility and scalability but potentially lower performance due to resource sharing. GPU Dedicated Servers provide exclusive hardware access, ensuring consistent high performance for demanding tasks, usually at a higher cost.

What is the difference between Bare Metal Server and VPS?

Bare metal servers provide dedicated physical hardware with maximum performance, ideal for HPC, GPU training, or large databases. VPS is a virtualized environment on physical servers, with shared resources but high flexibility and quick deployment, suitable for small to mid-size applications and development/testing. Details: https://www.databasemart.com/dedicated-hosting

What is a GPU server and how is it different from a regular server?

GPU servers have GPUs in addition to CPUs, enabling parallel processing for machine learning, data analytics, and simulations, providing faster computation for intensive workloads. Regular servers rely only on CPUs, which may not perform as well on GPU-accelerated tasks. More info: https://www.databasemart.com/gpu-server

What is RAID? How does a RAID server differ from a regular server?

RAID (Redundant Array of Independent/Inexpensive Disks) combines multiple drives into one logical unit to improve data security and read/write performance. RAID servers protect data during disk failure and enhance performance, whereas regular servers typically have single disks, offering less data security and performance.

Does the CPU in your service support Intel VT-x virtualization technology? Even in VPS services

Yes, our infrastructure is built on CPUs that support Intel VT-x (hardware-assisted virtualization). Here's how it works across different services:

Dedicated Bare Metal Servers: All of our dedicated servers support Intel VT-x by default, allowing full virtualization capabilities without restrictions.

KVM-based VPS (Linux VPS & Windows Desktop VPS): Our KVM VPS plans come with VT-x support enabled by default. You can run virtualized workloads (e.g., Docker, Android emulators, nested VMs) without any additional configuration.

Windows Server VPS: While the underlying host supports VT-x, nested virtualization (e.g., using Hyper-V within the VPS) is not enabled by default. If you require this feature, please contact our support team — we can enable it on a case-by-case basis depending on your use scenario. If you’re planning to use virtualization tools or emulators inside your VPS, feel free to reach out so we can help ensure the environment meets your needs.

Do you offer Vlan support?

Yes, we do provide VLAN support for our servers. However, please note that in order to establish a VLAN connection, the servers must be physically located within the same rack. If you are planning to deploy multiple servers with VLAN requirements, please let us know in advance so we can ensure proper placement during provisioning.

Google Fiber, CenturyLink (Lumen Technologies), Rise Broadband

These ISPs provide reliable internet connectivity, ensuring strong performance and stability for your hosting services. Please note, we use public internet routes, not dedicated lines for specific ISPs.

How do you calculate the bandwidth usage?

We do not meter the bandwidth usage for individual dedicated or VPS servers. Each server can use the maximum bandwidth as the plan allocated (e.g., 100Mbps unmetered). 100Mbps unmetered bandwidth is around 32TB accumulated bandwidth per month. We do monitor the bandwidth usage closely in our network in order to keep all the clients happy. If you use too much bandwidth and affect the other clients, we may ask you to reduce the bandwidth usage since the bandwidth is shared with other clients.

Do you provide a private network or VLAN services between my servers?

We offer a private network or VLAN between our dedicated servers in the same rack. Please get in touch with us with your requirements for further details if you need that.
