How to Transfer Your Domain Name to Database Mart



Transferring your domain name to Database Mart allows you to manage your domain and hosting services in one place for greater convenience and reliability. This guide walks you through how to transfer your domain or move your website to a new host step by step.

Prerequisites

Before starting your domain transfer, make sure:

Your domain is at least 60 days old and not locked for transfer.
You have access to your current registrar account to unlock the domain and retrieve the EPP/Auth code.
The domain’s WHOIS contact email is valid — confirmation emails will be sent to it.

Steps to Transfer a Domain to Database Mart

Step 1: Unlock Your Domain

Log in to your current registrar’s control panel, locate your domain, and look for an option to unlock it (disable domain lock).

Step 2: Obtain the EPP or Authorization Code

In your registrar’s domain settings, find the EPP code (also called Auth code). Copy this code — you’ll need it when placing the transfer order in Database Mart.

Step 3: Place a Domain Transfer Order at Database Mart

Go to the Database Mart Domain purchase page and choose Domain Transfer Name.
Then, input your domain name and select your TLD (Top-Level Domain) from the dropdown list. Finally, click the Search button to make sure that it can be transferred.
